With a mission to help communities fund their local youth shooting teams, MidwayUSA Foundation is the leading advocate for youth shooting sports. To continue its mission, the public charity is expanding and seeking to add a Deputy Director and a Program Manager to its staff.
The Deputy Director will be based in Columbia, Missouri, becoming a vital part of the senior leadership team, responsible for leading and managing the Programs Department and working with the Executive Director to implement strategic initiatives, enhance organizational performance, and cultivate a collaborative environment. The Program Manager’s primary responsibility is assisting youth shooting teams at the high school and college level to establish, grow, and utilize their respective team endowment funds through MidwayUSA Foundation’s Team Endowment Program. The Program Manager will work remotely and must reside in a western state, limited to Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, or New Mexico. Heavy travel across the region is required with this position (approximately 50%). The ideal candidate for both positions has fundraising knowledge, experience with a youth shooting sports team, strong communications skills, and a passion for growing and sustaining youth shooting sports.
MidwayUSA Foundation Executive Director, G. Scott Reynolds, spoke about the organization’s expansion. “As communities across our Nation become increasingly aware of the positive influences of youth shooting sports, this wholly unique team sport is growing by leaps and bounds. To accommodate and serve that growth through our multiple endowment-funded programs, we also need to adapt and grow. These two new positions will enable us to support more youth shooting teams and organizations while ensuring all youth shooting sports teams have the financial resources they need to prosper and grow in perpetuity.”
